Default Good news/bad news

Hi everyone, long time no speak so hope you are all well?

Good news is that as of November my memory has started improving, this has been very freaky after spending the last two and a half years with a 24/48 hour memory.
Life has changed dramatically for me since November.

On Tuesday I decided to leave my job selling Porsches and I headed to Derby where i will be based for the next 10 weeks until I embark on my new journey.

I'm planning to head to Australia and take in along the way 80 races in 80 different countries. At the end I will write a book about the adventure.

Now the BAD news, in order to help fund the journey I will have to sell my beloved Scoobie It's an L reg WRX with about 140,000Kilometres on the clock, it has 3 owners and is completely standard japanese import. Could you recommend where i try and sell it please? And if anyone could give me a rough price to start advertising it at I would really appreciate it.

I will try my best to get along to a meeting before i head on my travels.

Stay safe and remeber lifting off is for wimps.

Cheers

Andy

Great to hear from you Andy - and to hear that things are really looking up - even if it does mean selling the Scooby!

What an adventure please make sure you keep us up to date - or let us know the website where we can follow your trip! Good Luck! I also look forward to reading your book!

As for selling the Scoob, I'm sure someone will be along soon to give you the advice you are after - sorry I can't help.

Hope to see you before you depart, but if we don't, good luck, take care & above all else enjoy!!

hi mate,

as Hillary has said nice to hear things are starting to pick up for you. What sort of races are you going to watch?? Sounds like 1 great adventure though.

piston heads seems a good site for selling scoobs, not sure about price though. Have a look on there at similar cars to gauge a price.

cheers

That's great news about your memory fella. Hope it keeps improving. Shame about having to sell the Scoob but just think what you'll be able to do with the funds and you can always buy another in the future. Keep us posted on how you get on.
