Hi ppl, company i've just started working for have automatically enetered me in a pension scheme with friends provident. I think i pay 5% monthly and the company will match by paying 5%. I can opt out of this, I do have other savings accounts. But when they will match my payments 7.5% is it worth it? are there any pitfalls or wording, terms I should be cautious of??

My comapny also run there pension through Friends Provident. Unfortunatly we only get 3% (cons of working for a charity). However ive discussed it with my IFA. His advice was to remain in it to get the 3% from the company but only pay the minimum into it and run a personal pension with better forcasts separatly

thanks for the reply i can see what your saying best to get what you can from them. My mate said a similair thing.
