Almost a Scooby owner
3 days to go and another Scoob will be moving to Essex to relieve my butterfly enhanced RX8 of all winter duties.
I'll be keeping an eye out for local meets and events so that I'll be able to learn all about the do's and dont's of WRX ownership.

Now a full fledged Scooby owner!!
Picked it up this afternoon and drove it home. Despite the heavy rain I had a lovely ride back, I took it easy to get used to it only to find myself cruising... well you know... cruising 
without even realizing that it had picked up speed just like that.
Managed to sabotage the radio straight away so it's down to the USB dongle for music, will have to have a play with it tomorrow afternoon. Nearly fell over at the petrol station too when I went in there looking sad and declaring "Pump no. 8, the one with £59 on it" only to be reassured that it was only £39...
Curious to see how long it lasts...
Just got back from a blast around the Burnham bends... not bad at all, despite the atrocious weather but it will need new boots fairly soon so off shopping on camskills for some proper rubber as soon as I can establish what size I actually need!
Question 1: where is the Halfway House pub? Is it in Brentwood?
Question 2: is the Boxer engine rev happy? I see it redlines around 7K rpms, what is the optimum rev range for it?
