Anyone got a vta to fit a '97 that they fancy selling cheap? I fancy being a bit more of a chav for a while.

Is that the I/C mounted dumpvalve?

Am playing with the idea of running with out a valve - made no difference with the old UK turbo so may see what happens this weekend.

Sort of. It's the one that has the solid pipe coming off the ic. The dv is connected to it by tubing. Dad's got a bolt direct onto the ic one that he's not running at the moment. Although I have got a spare sti ic that has the direct bolt on dv setup a lot of agro to fit a dv though

No dv is ok on the TD series turbos but not advised on the VF series

Thanks Stu!

On the old Scoob, I found that a Duracel "D" battery fitted perfectly ( Hope Frayz don't read this!!) it didn't make any difference so was promptly removed! The ally bung I've got in the garage was too big, should fit nicely on this car.

Yep, the car has a FMIC, induction kit and a HKS Air/fuel controller, the STI pops and bangs slightly with the downpipe cat so at least I know the car is running rich. Next buy after Crimbo is the decat downpipe!

No TD's are fine but early VF's are considered at greater risk of failure from running without DV's.

It was handy when I was at Calor as they had a lathe and I could of turned down a lump of ally billet but that was the only thing I could find to see what the fuss was about!
