Angry Here we go!!

Popped into Lakeside after work to try and get a book for my daughter and when I got back to the car, it decided it didn't want to start!

The starter motor solenoid was clicking but wouldn't spin over, nothing there except the clicking.

I pulled the car out of the bay and started pushing it to try and bump start it as several people walked by, not one of the ba$tards offered to help, nor the person stuck behind me offer a jump!

I managed to push the car fast enough (ON MY OWN!!!) and got it started!

It's now on fast charge drawing 6 Amps so the battery isn't dead yet, but is well on it's way to dying!

Just hope it lasts till I finish work tomorrow so I can buy a new one.

To you people who walked past

Paul is more used to getting pulled than pushed I reckon.

Sign of the times I am afraid. Good Samaritans are few & far between.

Got to agree there. I was going across Blackheath the other day when a motorcyclist was riding between cars at about 5 mph when a car decided to switch lanes. Consequently the bike tapped the rear end of the car (not causing any damage) but unbalancing the rider casing him to fall off the bike. I was about 4 vehicles behind in my lorry watching this happen. The guy got up and tried to pick his bike up and EVERYONE around him just sat there watching, including the driver who caused the bump in the first place!

After about 10 seconds of seeing him struggle, I got out of my cab, went over and helped him pick the bike up. He said thanks mate, but I could see he was nearly crying with effort and frustation at all the tw*ts just sitting in their cars whilst he was struggling

Good to see you got the car going though Paul
