Default Ford sterio code help

Hi people,

I have just changed the starter motor on a focas i bought.
After refitting the battery i found i dont have the code for the sterio.
I remember a thread a while ago when someone could get them, could someone please help if they can find out.

serial no. m291104

they are usually on a sticker on the stereo itself, pull it out and have a look.

I pulled it out again but cant seem to find the number on it

Every stereo I've ever had to check has had it. It's not a sticker saying "top secret security code" but they have all had it, honest guv.

Pull it out and write down the serial number on the side.

Normally a 7 digit number on the right hand side starting with an "M"

Take that number to your local dealership. For a small fee they will supply you the code for the stereo.

Edit, just read your post seeing you had alrady got the Serial number lol

as frayz said but you want the part number to then take it to ford and they will put it in tis (may have changed now) and they will get it for you,fords don't put the code on the stereo, if you have had any work done on your car at the local dealer or bought it from there they may have it on the system!!!!
