Anyone from Brentwood on here?
I understand that most of Brentwood High Street is currently closed for roadworks. The reports say it's closed up to Wilsons Corner
Can anyone tell me if I can still get across on the A128 (Ongar Road into Ingrave Rd)? Thats the way I normally get to the HWH
TIA

Ahhh, you like taking the more "Spirited" route
Its is closed from Wilsons Corner down to the Kings Road ATS junction.
You can still get across the A128 though mate from Ongar Road onto Ingrave Road.
For people coming along London Road, if you need to get through the High Street, your best bet is to turn right at Kings Road and then Left onto Queens Road that way and going round the back of the High Street in effect and picking up the top of the A128.
Its going to be closed for a month.

Thats the way I normally go, but the roadworks from J26-28 makes it the largest car park in the Europe

Plus there's never an ANPR operation on that route
