In short, yes mate - they are worth it.

At present, you have 2 vents on top of each rocker cover and a crankcase vent, the oil vapour (blow by gasses) from the engine is fed into the inlet pipe after the airfilter and before the turbo, the oil vapour mixes with the "clean" air and basically contaminates it. By having the said outlets fed into an oil catch tank, the engine will run more efficiently.

Though admittedly it won't make that much of a difference on a standard engine.

I've bought a 1/2 litre Red anodised tank a few weeks ago which cost around £45, but haven't got round to fitting it yet - been too busy working on other peoples cars

cool, ill have a go at this payday. i have been advised to mount the Exit pipe off the catch tank as far back behind the car as possable otherwise the vapors come throught your vents etc and stink!

just to conferm, the 2 pipes that go into the top of the heads go into the oil catch tank. bung the breather holes up on the engine with what?

There is a group buy running for oil catch tanks at the moment.
It looks nearly like the one I got of ebay and it was a lot cheaper.

OIL CATCH TANK ROUND 9MM & 15MM FITTINGS BLUE on eBay (end time 25-Sep-09 12:48:09 BST)

or group buy

https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...tch-tanks.html

I got mine from the USA Ebay site for £27 delivered.
