I am no expert on football but a few years ago i had to do a presentation on football violence. Someone correct me if i am wrong but the rivalry between west ham and milwall dates back to 1908 when it had very little to do with football, it was all over dock workers who vented their anger at football games between rival areas/teams. So with that in mind i wonder how many of the current football thugs even know why there is rivalry there, you can be sure that none of them were alive in 1908 to remember where it all originated from.
I am sure a few of you know what i do for a living and it means i am often at west ham games, what is really sad is that most fans are there to enjoy the game often with their family, then a few tossers pitch up and make it a dangerous place to be, those involved should be ashamed of themselves!!!!!!!

i doubt if those fat wasters can relate to the origins of dockworking!!! - that would mean attending school, or watching discovery channel (both of which is far beyond their capabilities) - i went to watch west ham play sunderland at roker park years ago (when it was the old stadium still) and we ended up in a pub with the sunderland lads having a drink up and we missed the game (although we could hear it outside!!!) those were the days....
luckily the score was 1-1 !!! hahhahaha

scoobyed. it all started because the iron works in east london went on strike but the dock workers in the south didnt, so there has been tension between the areas ever since. Although that has ferck all to do with football now days though.
majority of the trouble at the begining of the game was nothing to do with "real fans". The 2 groups just met for a tear up, none of them had tickets. Then it got round the ground via text etc that a hammers fan had been stabbed and that's when the pitch invasions happened.
Friend of mine was getting off the tube before the game, and they were in front of a group of rather large millwall supporters.....1 of them walked out the station, up to a copper and lamped him there and then!!!!! WTF?!?!?!?!
