Flamer Kits, decats etc etc...
Hi Peeps,
My V4STI has a sports cat downpipe, standard centre section (with the resonator box or whatever it is in the middle) and a Ninja backbox.
Will this be enough to get decent flames with a flamer kit thingy or will I need to put in a straight through centre pipe or do something else?

Thanks loads for your reply - bearing in mind the fact that mine only has the single sportsw-cat in the downpipe, if I fit the flamer now will it give just a little flame untill I fit a full decat?

Have you got a VTA dumpvalve?
YouTube - MOV00018
They may not be as natural as yours, but you can't beat a bit of surgical enhancement.

Not sure if anyone has tried, you could be the first. IMO any flame you do get will probably be greatly reduced.

Not bad Darc, I prefer mine though.....

Yes I do, although the recirc is on most of the time but I can always fit the vta when I intend to use the flamer, its only intended for special occasions anyway

(or a lot of hp so that it flames naturally!)
Sure some of the flaming experts will be alone soon.

I've fitted one to a Newage with a sports cat, and it didn't flame, but on the newage cars mapping plays a big part on the results
