cam timing??

cam timing??
hi just changed the cam belt and idlers and tensioner(1 bolt type) on my 96 classic sti
timed engine before removal of old belt and found the passenger side bank was a tooth out??? did'nt think to much of it as as i thought i would just reset it when i fitted the new belt, changed idlers and fitted new belt, double checked, triple checked and quadrupple checked marks and all spot on. turned engine over 2 revolutions and rechecked marks and found n/s bank was one tooth out again
has anyone else had this problem???
