Exclamation Car needs a bufty, swirl marks etc...guess needs clay job done ?

Ok as above

How much is this likely to cost if I farm the job out.......

As the car is black , when I clean and polish her....I am noticing lots of swirl marks and what can only be described as when someone puts a hand on poiished car, smears but they are under shed loads of polish over the years I imagine she has never been clayed before so I am looking at best person for the job and costs ??

Any advice greatly received.......I am near Kelvedon

Another vote for Matt he is the man for black.

The Stealth Wagon has been worked on twice now by Matt & each time he has done a most impressive, thorough & professional job.

The results speak for themselves :-

Can you tell where the glass stops & the paint begins?

It will need claying but that's not going to get you rid of swirls. For full correction you'll need it machine polishing. Whoever does it for you will need to take plenty of paint thickness readings as the car is now 23 years old, it will have had plenty of polishing before and may have had a little spray work in the past.

Ignore the prices on the website fella can sort you out a much better price than that

All i would say is if you got quotes from other detailing companies you'd be looking at around £300 - £400 for a full correction detail.

Thanks for that, the paint thickness does concern me , especially where machining is involved......Would be keen to have a pm`d price if you prefer......

Oih, join the back of the queue for Matt's services

As many others have said, Matt's work is excellent, has done 3? of my vehicles plus some friends, always been very pleased with the result.
