the end is here.....
of my subaru ownership
After roughly 7 years of subaru ownership, and my fair share of ups as well as downs, my baby went to a new home today
Even with certain issues, have thoroughly enjoyed owning a suabru, as well as that got to meet and make many many friends on here and SIDC.
It's been a pleasure meeting you all (well most of you lol ) and hope to still see you at meets, although not in a scoob.
However the new car is still a 2.0l turbo, just an astra sri. At the mo my ESC plate isnt on there, so if you see an astra flashing and waving, please give me a wave back
some pics of my new beast

Shame to see it go mate But like you say @ this time needs must & all that ..........
Just curious as you got rid of the w i d e b o y as the insurance was to expensive for Sarah as a named driver , how much cheaper was it for you to insure Sarah on the 2.0L Astra SRI ?

Nice one Paul !!
Again sorry to hear the scoobs gone, but onwards and upwards mate
All said and done, its only a bit of metal mate and i'm sure practicality will make it all worthwhile.
just save up for another scoob in the meantime !!!
good luck with it and we all still want to see you 3 at all the regular meets, where possible!!!

Mark, will have to speak with ABW soon about a wide boy astra lol
Tiny, as col has said, looking at a few k to insure sarah on the scoob, where as the astra is around £500.... massive difference. Astra only has 170bhp also on top of that just the general running cost of the astra are a lot lower. So it's an all round win situation for me at the mo, what with having to buy a house soon as well!! lol
Tom, thanks mate she was a stunning looking car IMO.....the guy that brough her thinks exactly the same
glad to know that the car has gone a nice enough bloke, who i think is gonna love her as much as me
