Default So, does Mocom map classics now?

Not even going to bother trying to ring/email/PM them, as I'm sure plenty of you know the answer.
I called Slowboy to see if they map ECUtek, and they don't, but he said Mocom do a new open source map. All I could see on their website was a 95 quid OBD cable for it.

Any one shed any light on it?

As far as I know Mocom can only map ESL piggyback ecu's or Simtek ecu's on a classic as when I had mine done Zak had to fit the ESL piggyback ecu before he could do the live map. Although I can no longer find that on the website.

No its OK. I don't want to cause a fuss, cos if they don't do ECUtek, which I knew then I won't be using them, cos I'm only after an additional map.

I just though one of you guys would have had some info on this open source thing.

As far as i recall - when we wanted a map - Zak didn't do ECUtek - he was talking about putting an apexi on ours. We went to Simon @ Jollygreenmonster, and couldn't fault him - sadly though, i don't think he maps evo's

I Did Say alleged ............... some parameters are very similar but NOT all.

I don't believe anyone has started any litigation in response to infringement of patent/licence, and open source has been around some time.

Thanks - will give them a try. Think Simon said that the 4's can't be mapped??? but maybe what he meant was that he couldn't map it? dunno - anyway - will find MA Developments. Do you know where they are Milamber?

See here M.A.Developments - Mark Shead - 07768 356204

I hope to hand him my Cosworth for some tlc at some point...

Cant agree more about MA Developments........Mark did this for my Evo 8, as well as mapping my Sti 8 and my UK300

She was retweaked after this run when I had the Greddy FMIC fitted and she gave a little more
