PC/Software Help
My USB ports it seems have "malfunctioned" so my printer, camera etc canot work - which is most annoying!
However, i have to print out the invoices for the business so i'm a bit of a sticky wicket!
I do have another computer - however it has no software to open the invoices in.
Does anyone have a windows disk either excel or Works spreadsheet that i could borrow? Invoice are due out tomorrow - so I've not really left it to the last minute LOL
Would VERY much appreciate it

As suggested are the ports viewable from within the device driver. I'm guessing you have tried reseting the Pc (turning it off and on again). Also sometimes shutting down the PC and unplugging it from the mains, see if that helps. If not, it mau be a little more involved and i'm guessing time is critical.
As a work around, if the invoices are written in Excel, download the free Excel viewer from Microsoft which will allow you to install on a machine where you don't have the original Excel installation disc and still be able to view and more importantly print your documents.

Hope this helps.

Yeah tried all the above - had a friend who's a techy guy do a remote connection and try to fix the problem - but unfortunatly its confirmed that it is the hardware as opposed to something that can be "fixed".
As the invoices get printed on headed paper and because of the financial nature - i don't want to e-mail them over to a friend to print - the best option was to use the spare computer i have - but just need the software

is it an HP computer perchance??
they have a habit of doing this, kits caused by poor insulation of the ports on the moterboard, which shorts out when plugging them in and out.
as tissy says, download the viewer on the other pc ....
