any1 used them or had work done?


need a quote for insurance repair , wondered what their work was like?

mark, you need to find somewhere where they aren't going to rub a gritty chamois over the car and let some young trainee oik rag it about.

mentioning the car has datalogging technology at the time of dropping it off might be beneficial

company used by insurance co. as well as prestige in purfleet (local ones to me!!)

dal, are you able to quote from the pics i've posted up on the other thread?

i dont want any filler used on repairs so will be insisting on whoever does repair / quote that i want

- complete new door (not door skin)
- new rear bumper
- new wheel
- new tyre
- new arch extension/skirt

careful they might write it off they do that so easy now a days, my mate just had a new door put on his golf cost £800 just for a door

Swan Coachworks - aren't they off Paycocke Road?
Think we used them once for a quote - they came in too expensive for the insurance company I think.
I've had a couple of other garages recommend them to me - but never actually ended up using them!

I'd rather have a look for you mate , those doors have side impact bars in and can very easily pull the b pillar in , I wouldn't want to miss anything . You'd have to have all those parts at least from what I can see . Btw you are entitled to take your car to any garage you like for repairs , a lot of people think you have to go with the one your insurance company say and that is not the case .

Bro .. Steer well clear of Swan coachwork's if you can mate ..

They repaired my scoob early doors after my little ditch incident many moons ago , Was recommended to me via Dal "Comma Oil" Lloyd say no more ...

Was an age waiting for the car to be repaired & when returned i was still not Happy , Like i say this was along time ago & may have changed since , But just thought i would make you aware
