Yet if you check out the latest figures for deaths and injuries this doesnt reflect speed at all

I agree with this, in principle, and if only in 30/40mph residential areas.

I cant really see it happening though, just think of all the lost revenue from the speeders.

Not to mention the fact that it would be voluntary, so the only people likely to fit such a device, would be the "go everywhere below the limit" types anyway.
