Was driving along the M25 to the darkside, and was in the fast lane, a little over the limit. Over took a box van and just as I passed, I saw what looked like a mobile speed camera van parked up on the chevrons seperating the A13 slip road and the M25.

The police van didn't look the usual speed camera van as it didn't have the camera hatches on the back doors/side but had a cylinder type hatch on the roof.

When I cam back through 20 mins later, the van was gone, and some sort of tripod was in it's place, with a similar tripod half way between the A13 and A127 junctions (both on the Kent bound side)

I know there is definately a speed trap operating on the Kent side of the crossing with a Motorcycle copper keeping an eye out on the Dartford junction (Saw him pulling over a artic)

if i am right the cylinder type thing that sticks out the roof is an ANPR camera, think you might be alright here matey.

Thats quite possible spally they have simalar on the A13 at times.

If one was silly enough to go through a red light at say ........ 140ish would the camera be quick enough to catch you?

yes it WOULD still get you. IIRC tested above 170 before too quick.

I saw a box van on the M25 with a cylinder type thing on the roof and it had CONE WATCH written down the side, so it may not be a police camera at all.
