Default Need a template for a Business Proposal

Some of you may or may not be aware but Gooner has just started his own business in the Dog Security Sector and we've just managed to get our first client

Yay - anyhow, said client is happy with our charging costs etc and asked for a proposal. Now I'm not stupid and have written and typed out many a document in the past, however, whilst I know the kind of material I need in it - I'm not sure of the order and layout.

Does anyone here have a business proposal "type" document that they could forward me and let me use as a template

Pllleeeeeeaaaaaaaase

business proposals go to banks and lenders, business contracts go to clients.

yep its a contract you need. I'd guess google would be your friend - probably lots of templates you could tailor from there

Good luck

i just looked at my IT contracts and they are a bit too IT focused.

basically you need to outline the following:-
in no particular order...

General:
who is supplying the service (eg. acme dogs ltd)
who is buying the service (eg. igotawarehouse.com)

Details:
what the service is, being provided
hours/duration/responsibility
cost of service

inclusions
exclusions

payment terms...

contract length

liabilities/responsibilities

blah blah blah....

Could you ask for a quote / terms & conditions from a local Ihaveabigmeandogforhire Co.Ltd. for a fictitious job. Then see what their specific contract looks like. Just don't sign it.

Hi,
I used to work as a trainer/handler for a security firm we looked after the Prodrive Warwick and Banbury sites (great fun!)
I had a couple of import Shepherds whom where Schuzhund trained. (now show Akitas and boxers) In my experience it is a contract that you need I know that the company I used to work for had a very comprehensive one covering all the health and safety aspects including hours of work, insurances for prospective clients.
I think the idea of getting a copy from someone and modifying it would be best.
Good luck with it, I had great fun doing it with my furry friends!

Thank you - I have done it now (the client referred to it as a proposal - i think he wanted an outline contract/quote/proposal) - anyway - all sorted now.

We've got a shepherd who's fantastic and trained to a really good level - just got a mally - which is what alot of police are seeking now i think - he's in training already and I'm contemplating training my spaniel for track/find poss drug or bombs - not sure? gonna speak to my trainer later in the week.

Nice to find another scooby snetter in the "trade"

I know a shepherd that's been to the vets recently for some undercarriage work.

At least the table legs will be safe now.

Where's me pants?
