Sadly the worst has happened
Anyone got first hand experience with an alarm company in Essex? also what sort of ballpark figure can I expect to pay?

we fit Alarms Which are WIRELESS and by far the leading wireless alarm going, have fitted this in 2millions plus houses are work really well,
how ever they are not NACOS approved which means you get 10% off your house insurance.

Hi i used this guyMartin of MCA Services Ltd(MC Alarms)01206 842177
(mob 07973734240) he fitted a wireless system for £545. including first years service.that was with a five year warranty.Well worth a call.

4 TEC Security - from first hand experience of many 'alarm specialists' these are the guy's I'd recommend. Local and provide very good support should the need ever arise
Edited to add I'd guess somewhere in the region of £1k would get you a comprehensive system. Use commen sense when receiving quotes from the different companys out there and think how you could bypass the system the salesman has suggested if you wanted to get in. I've had many quotes over the years which have been a load of cr@p if you actually sat down and thought about access routes.
