Strange classic model code ?
I just looked at the Scoobypedia model codes, after following the link on another thread, and I cant seem to find my 2000 classic wagons one listed. It's GF8HK8D.
Now it's fine with the GF8/Impreza, Wagon, 2.0L turbo, as the next letter is H and the 2000/MY00 is a G, I'm assuming it's a 2001 ??
Then it gets strange, the door code is a K ???
The last bit is fine as well with 8D/ WRX, 5spd
Could it be a 2001 classic and what is the H door code?
It's a genuine U.K. car with all the U.K. paperwork.
Any ideas...over to the experts.
Cheers in advance.

Hi Tony,
Identical code to mine. Looking at a book I have, we are on a crossover of code system and the "H" refers to model year, not door layout.
Here's a breakdown of the code from my book.....
G - Impreza
F - Sport Wagon
8 - EJ20 (2.0 Turbo)
H - MY01
K - RHD
8 - WRX
D - 5 speed manual
Hope this helps
Brian
