Made me smile that even though the Scoob wallowed about a lot compared to the Evo, it still beat the Evo's track time.... Did like it that red though.....

Interesting that one of the car mags said that the sequential gearbox on the evo was it weakest point and would like to try the manual version,as they implied it would thrash the sti, yet the sti still seems to hold its own
Both cars seem to be aimed at a slightly wider audience and they have redesigned accordingly but at the end of the day they still out handle and perform their peers.
I think the new shape sti is a grower and with the right combinations of colour/wheel is stunning. We all have our favourite scoobies, bug,hawk,classic or blob and this is just a natural progression I suppose.
I would imagine that the main thing with regards to its appeal and longevity will be how tuneable it is and how the aftermarket manufacturers take to it.
