Rumour has it they have also found a second bomb there this afternoon and someone here at my work has said that Fenchurch street station is closing altogether at 15.00 today but the C2C trains will be running from Liverpool street platforms 15 and 18 until further notice!!
I have not found that on any websites yet, as i say its just what someone that works here has put on the public bulletin board on our intranet!!

Line problem in the Bromley-by-Bow area.
Time: 06/06/2008 16:08
Train services between Barking and London Fenchurch Street are being disrupted due to emergency services dealing with an incident in the Bromley-by-Bow area. Short notice alterations, cancellations and delays can be expected.
Further information: As of immediate effect, and until further notice, all customers for the Tilbury Loop via Rainham should use Fenchurch Street. We will only be able to operate two trains per hour to all stations along the Tilbury loop. All customers for main line stations to Shoeburyness via Laindon should use Liverpool Street. Four trains per hour will operate along this route calling at all stations with the exception of West Ham. London Underground services are also affected and passengers are advised NOT TO TRAVEL unless it is absolutely necessary. National Express East Anglia are accepting c2c tickets between Southend Victoria and Liverpool Street. These problems are due to the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb.

I don't get to say this often - but I'm SO pleased I'm not working up town - cause it was always a git to get home in situations like this - trains/tubes are crowded enough as it is, without doubling up!
Hope you all get/got home OK
