xbox horror of horrors!!!
finally found a copy of gta4.
went to have a quick go and lo and behold red ring of death.
anyway, i disconnected the hard drive, unplugged everything except power and then wrapped it in a towel and left it on for 25 mins.
after, left to cool for 10 mins, cabled it up., plugged the drive in and wahey!!!
GTA4 in all its glory!!!
suppose its only a temp fix, but it does work!!!

turn it on it's side I said. The reason it does the red ring thing is due to rubbish solder. And Turning it on it's side should be a permanent fix, not just temporary. Mine did it 8 months ago and has been fine ever since.

i'm gonna get a spare one anyway, just in case...
GTA4 is so funny in multiplayer mode!!!
i had MarkRB5286 chop me up with the helicopter rotors lol
