Default Would anyone be interested in the Scumball 2009

Been looking at this for the last couple of years, it looks like a great event, and a chance to raise a bit of cash for charity.

Just testing the water at the mo to see if there is any interest.

This years timing is bad for me, for funds and other commitments, but I thought with over a year to get a car sorted it could work.

Is it still cars to a value of £500?

Looked into doing this last year - registered, but was too late to get it all organised
similarly not in a position to do it this year, but maybe next year?

Yep, if only it was £500!

Their website currently still states car value = £500, but if it has changed there are some more interesting toys for £1000 - Toyota GT4 for instance

Cookie, you should set up a drip fund for anyone interested to pay some money into each month, to pay towards fuel car etc...

When I was looking at this, I was always thinking of a Legacy estate, stickered up in some kind of way from local Subaru orientated sponsors , who could also possibly help with car prep

Drip fund is a good idea, not sure whats the best approach for this, glad to see some real interest, it actually feels like it could happen.

I'm sure sponsorship would be quite forthcoming

I'd love to do something like this, looks brilliant!!!

If you want something that will last the journey but stand out like a sore thumb, how about a matt black Hurse (sp), could cover it in Scumball graphics and it would be the stuff of legends
