Mencap ESC Scoobies crew Sunday trip too Longleat
Hi Guys & Girls.
I have just had a reply from Longleat regarding group concessions etc.
And as all ways nothing is straight forward.
Too obtain the group price £15.40 per person we have to use our own cars for the safari trip (there is a bypass road to miss the monkey's).
If we chose the bus option it will be full price no concessions @ £22.00 per person entrance fee and £5.00 supplement for the bus.
If we go for the group booking I will have to contact them so can we please decide soon
If we go for the bus option we can do this on-line individually @ Longleat - As featured on BBC's Animal Park
Also as for priority parking I will need to contact the events department and there would possibly be an additional charge. I was told though that there is a very large parking area and if we chose the far end we should be OK but no guarantee to be able to park together.

My thoughts ...
We use our own cars for the safari trip using the by pass for the monkey enclosure !!
Done this last time @ Longleat with no probs , Better than being stuck on a bus imho
Parking if it can be arranged all well & good but to be honest with the size of car park they have there cannot really see it being an issue getting 13 cars parked together , Even if on the day as we enter we ask if we can perhaps form our own little area within the main car park

Last time the monkey enclosure was only for
"The Boss" & even the hard core watched safely from a distance.He didn't get out unscathed though

This is an event after the Mencap day.
Some where for us too go on the way home just to keep the fun weekend going a bit longer.
There's still time to join the whole weekend last cut off date for Mencap is
May 14th.

I will need confirmation of numbers AND FULL PAYMENT FROM NON MENCAP RUNNERS before the 16th May to book the group concession.

Just a thought, it's a bank holiday weekend so it will probably be fairly busy so using our own cars will probably be better anyway.....think I will miss the monkey enclosure though!

cheers yvette. Just that i dont particulary want to take the car through so i may sit and have an ice cream whilst the others drive round.

The price includes safari so Sarah could jump in with someone else
When we went all the expensive nice car's did the first part of the safari and all left before the monkey enclosure now them little f**ker's will do some serious damage

me and paula are easy as for the monkey enclosure sorry wont be going through their paula has enough trouble with me let alone the monkeys aswell
