Another one of my ideas that i'd appreciate your thoughts on please. I may soon be the owner of a stunning............................... astra 1.7td long story but i bought the car and now the family member using the car is buying another car, so has said that i should sell this.
Well as it's a bit of a bonus, i wasn't expecting the money for it, i was thinking about getting a project to do. I am still considering doing the ra up but i have also thought about selling the ra and putting the funds towards a project.
The only thing is, i can't deceide what sort of vehicle i want for the project. I had thought about a vw camper van, an old escort or fiesta, old bmw or a real classic car. but i'm running out of ideas.

so guys what would you go for?
If you're anything like me, you WILL regret selling the RA, like I did with my old classic. Keep it as a project, which is exactly what I'm going to do with my ABW Scoob. My brother Dave was very proud when I bought the first scoob, but sadly he didn't get to see the new one, so my intention is that it's going to be seriously modified in his memory, - Hence Taffy Racing. |This also gives me the extra incentive to hopefully make the car something a little special

i did regreat selling my silver classic and that's why i bought the ra, as a project. trouble is i get bored with cars quickly and change them. then regreat it and end up buying another one.
I'm sure you'll do him proud with the new one mate. he'll have seen it. albeit from a bit further away. i'm a strong believer in things like that.
Best bet is to use the LC on the entrance road to xtreme scoobies. That way you should still have enough momentum to roll in there for the new gearbox.
Looks like the RA will be started at the weekend. Drove it last night and was thinking what people said. must admit, i found it hard to think of a car that could give me the same smile for the amount that it owes me.
