Why is it that you can only retort with an Arsenal verse?? Never Man U or West Ham Still, at least the mighty Arsenal, when taking penalties, shot BETWEEN THE POSTS - not sure where your player was looking and aiming for - any ideas????

i guess it's the same wearing a liverpool shirt on the way to an everton game and every other Derby. Unfortunately that's the mentality of some of the football supporters in this country.
it's a shame that some still feel the need to act like it. at the end of the day it's a game that's meant to be enjoyed. these people should be told "take it seriously but grow up!"
now rugby, a real man's game , on the otherhand never seems to have any of this sort of behaviour. i've been to games and been in the pub drinking with the oposition supporters before the match, wished them luck before the game and then met up with them afterwards for more drinks. it's never been anything but light hearted banter when i've been.

[QUOTE=bibo_boy;7728121]Try walking to the game wearing a Spurs shirt and see what happens QUOTE]
That would be quite a silly thing to do - no offence, but there's no way I'd walk through White Hart Lane wearing an arsenal shirt - I'd get lynched..... and I know it! Although, I'm not saying that that type of behaviour is acceptable - its expected (sadly).
Did anyone ever see that report by Roger Cook, who went undercover in the hooligan "underworld" - I think the fella is still in hiding - totally messed up world!
In my naive younger days i used to drink in the bricklayers arms in White Hart Lane - to me it was a pub - to everyone else it was a spurs breeding ground. Never occured to me ( ) why there were loads of T-shirts and banners for quite a few teams EXCEPT Arsenal - so one day decided to try my luck with the barman and questioned this point - LOL, he nearly crushed the glass he was cleaning......... Luckily for me, it was a quiet night, so I smiled politely and left never to return again (by the barman's orders )

Now Old Traffords a different story all together.
Your rugby point is spot on too, fans sit side by side never any trouble now you couldnt see that happening in a football ground without repercussions.
