I would believe you would have had the car mapped to flow easier, by putting a cat back on, you are then restricting the map, and the exhaust gasses wont be flowing as easy, making the car feel held back, and possibly the turbo not spooling up as easy, my car feels the same when I put the bung in the exhaust, so I try not to use the bung.

Yes, mate, your car will try and run more boost than the cat will allow and will probably cook the cat.

Id ask Zak, im sure he can dump the OEM map back in if you ask him nice

Thats what I did Dave, just reload the OEM map

All sorted, Zak stuck the original Map back on last night.

No more pops and bangs though
