Question Help and Knowledge please!

OK, a friend of ours has got a wagon sport. He's just had a clutch and alternator replacement. Basically, he's gone out to the car and it wouldn't start, flat battery. So he's jumped the car and now the engine is running but the rev counter, fuel gauge and temp gauge are now not working. He says he has checked the fuses but can't find the problem?

Any ideas?
