Default Spark Plug Positions and Bulbs!

Guys/girls,

Apologies in advance for this rather stupid question, but I need to change the plugs on my '02 bug, and I cannot for the life of me see where the spark plugs are (as you can tell, the engine bay is not really my domain!).
I am also having trouble getting the front bulbs out...Im sure you are supposed to turn the rubber bung and then pull out the bulb?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Plugs are hidden away behind the side of the battery/washer bottle and on the other side the airbox.
Remove these and you'll find individual ignition coils. Take each of these off and you'll find the spark plugs.
Can't help with the headlight bulbs - never had to change them!

the spark plugs are at the ends of the block, you have have to remove the airfilter box on the left and the battery and screen wash bottle may need to be removed to make enough room to get down there.

The bulbs are held in by wire clips, unclip them and pull out

TBH mate, if you are not sure where the plugs are, perhaps you shouldn't be attempting to change them. If you cross thread one, it can be a lot of trouble to sort out. Don't mean to be rude.

I can change plugs...just never really had to do anything to the Scooby before...it is one of the more congested engine bays!

This one has been opened up a bit so you can see more.

The black cam belt cover is roughly the same on all Scoobs. Once you have found that down at the front behind the radiator use that as a reference point on the picture. The plugs (two each side) are down the side of where the arrows are.

Ignore all the weird stuff on top of this engine as you won't have that on yours unless you bought the car off Petter.
