Looking to buy an X-box
As the title suggests - Gooner has now successfully got his playstation up and running the car - so obviously, now he wants to change it to an X-box
Looked on the net and found that there are different types - elite and platinum
Not sure which would suit better and what the difference is! Knowing that you lot seem pretty "up" on your toys - thought one of you could point me in the right direction!

basically you need to make sure the one you get has a hard drive The Elite definately has one and the one that doesn't is the XBOX Arcade console.
Heres a link that shows all the spec:
Xbox 360 Console at GAME.co.uk

Are you planning on fitting the xbox 360 in the car??? if so i would not advice it because they are well known for damaging disks when the console is moved whilst it is switched on, or the laser head that reads the disk comes out of place!!

Defo go for the xbox 360 elite . Ive had to normal xbox's and they both went wrong, Then i got the elite cause i was told when they made the elite they used a better lazer which cause's half the problems plus you get loads more memory.

OK - thanks for all the advice - Because Gooner isn't really interested in downloading music and stuff like that - would he still benefit from the Xbox elite? He uses it at work and therefore would be stationary as opposed to it being played whilst in motion!
Also, because he would be at work he wouldn't be able to get online with it (am I right in saying that he would need some kind of phone port? )
