This can be done. I went out with a guy who put one in his Cossie. He had to get an adaptor that was connected to the battery and up'd the power so he could then plug in the PS and a small monitor.
Personally I wouldn't bother, too much power can be drained, takes up too much room (gota fit it in the glove box!!), too many wires and another reason for thieves to target your car!! Thats why PSP & DS were invented!!!

Been to Maplin and bought the bits I needed (power invertor and connectors) - so that'll give Gooner something to do at work tonight LMAO - seeing as this set-up is for the work vehicle as opposed to the scoob. I don't think security will be an issue - considering night time is the best time for thieving it seems - and the car is occupied from 8pm to 6am by Gooner and the "beast" LMAO.

And then some
Are you going for full size or SlimPS2 ?
I'm guessing you have gone for a PS2 dedicated power supply as oppposed to a mains invertor. The problem with using a mains invertor, you will be going from 12v - 240v mains - PS2 Power. Best bet is to go for a proper car PSU for a PS2. That way you will be going 12v - PS2, which will save a lot of heat and wasted power.
Any questions, fire away.
- Internet
- GPS tracking
- Cameras
- Mobile Phone Integration
- Full Multimedia Integration (MP3/DVD etc)
- Digital TV (coming.....)
- All based on Windows XP with Touchscreen.

I have got in my work van
Printer/scanner/copier
DVD/MP3 headunit that plays all manner of formats (jpg, avi,mp4 .....)
Fitted a 12" sub behind drivers seat today (Top Gun was awesome !!!)
With the laptop on board, I also have Email/Internet (when I can leech off someone )
I am also looking at getting reverse cam (headunit has an input for it)
also want GPS (again, headunit has the input)
May have to get a PS3 for the van as well
all these ESC work toys eh
