Default Finally got my imported type r

The car has arrived today and all seems to be in good order.

Need to get it checked out and MOT'd. I have been advised that xtreme or mocom are the places to go so will give them a call today.

My wife thinks I am too old for it being 42 but I am looking forward to driving it.

here are a couple of pics.

About to fit the fog light and came across a connector where the UK cars fog light switch goes. Does anyone know if this will work if I connect a switch to this connector. seems too simple.

not sure about facelifts, but had to put a new wire in for my foglight, which I used the o/s reverse light and used a red bulb to keep the rear nice and tidy

I still own one, and can just about remember what is was like to drive it.

Poor thing hasn't been sideways or above 4000 rpm for ages, not long now though!

Out of interest, what year is it, and has it been sva'd?
I brought an unregistered Type R, and because it was under 10yrs old, it was a nightmare to register! All ok now though!

Its a 97 model so just needs an MOT. Going to take it to xtreme scoobies for a check over and service and then get it registered.

Would liked to have gone to the southend cruise but it won't be registered in time
