Default Oh dear.... had a serious offer for the Type R

Chap wants to put a deposit on it and is really keen.....

Won't be kept local unfortunitly....

This car is the best cars I've ever owned/driven (and I've drove some nice cars when I worked for Aston Martin.....)

BUT, ever since the head gaskets went, even though Zak did a great job on the car and it's 100% fine, I'm just a little paraniod but it breaking again....

Also, I think I'd prefer the piece of mind of a car that isn't modded and as a result I don't have to plan my trips around the type of fuel available etc....

Well it's not gone yet though

Sounds like deep down you've made your mind up for it to go.

If he's keen and it's the right money you're after then take it. You may not get another offer as good for a while.

Judging by the number of cheap and unsold scoobs around at the moment, if its a good offer I'd take it.

Also, I think I'd prefer the piece of mind of a car that isn't modded and as a result I don't have to plan my trips around the type of fuel available etc....
Not a problem if they are simple exhaust mods and you carry a bottle of NF in the boot. Just a remapped Hawkeye would see you 300bhp and be a damn sight easier to live with the the Type R.

Your right.... TBH, if I stay scooby, then that's the type of thing I'd probably do.....

It might not go yet, so we'll see
