Just to confirm has the TD05 been modified to fit?

As far as i remember when i had this turbo put on my 02wrx, the only other things needed was a remap, and uprated injectors

If you havent already uprated fuel pump would be good also.

If you checkout ebay no 220166387644 This is the one I've brought.
Its got EVOIII Stamped on it.
When I offered it up to the one on the car it look completly different
I've already got pink injectors, & an uprated fuel pump.
I've also got a bigger intercooler & up pipe to go on.

Don't no if you remember Frayz I spoke to you on the tunnel run regarding my flamer not working because of the extra cat.

I think all new TD05s where made with the 90 degree housings, that needed to be converted to fit the Impreza.

I stand ready to be corrected though

Ensure it's not the one in the ads picture as that's for an Evo,

And 340bhp at 15psi

Hello Zak.
It must be the one in the picture as its got EVOIII stamped on it.

Does this mean I can't convert it to fit the scooby?

Here are my questions to the bloke I brought the turbo from (dgroupltd) & his answers.

Q.Hi.
I brought a turbo off you for my Subaru. It's not till I've come to have it fitted that I've noticed EVOIII stamped on it.
Just wondered if it's possible for me to arrange sending it back to you for you to send me the correct one.
Many thanks Paul

A.the correct turbo has been sent, to fit a subaru some modifications are needed.

Q.Hi
What modifications are needed?
I've been on the scoobynet forum and have been told that the evo turbo spools up the opposite way.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks Paul.

A.its downpipe, manifold, exhaust housing and i think there is something else as well.

Any idea guys what my next question should be?

What's the return address?

Saying it'll fit by changing the up/downpipe etc is ludicrous - you may aswell stick a GT30R in there.

Just sent him this message. I'll let you no the out come.
Even worse, the Mrs see me typing the message to him and now she chewing my ***** off for getting conned on eBay once more.

Q. I'm sorry mate, but You advertised this turbo to fit a Subaru.
You don't say anything about modifications, especially to that extent and cost you suggest.
Saying it'll fit by changing the up/down pipes etc is ludicrous - you may as well stick a GT30R in there. I would appreciate a return address so I can return it for a full refund as this is not what was described. This turbo is for an Evo Only, not a Subaru.
I await your reply.
Thanks Paul.
