I've had 2 so far, won't get anymore, some how the door bell has become disconnected, not sure how that happened

Car is also nice and safe in the garage, but the van is parked outside.........oh yeah, nearly forgot, it's not mine so not bovvvvvered

Went to the Harvester last night, whilst we were eating, some trick or treaters came round the resturant and were not impressed when I offered them a chip!! I was not happy with them coming round the tables whilst everyone was eating, what treat are they after?? obviously money as I didnt take any sweets with me, thought it was a bit sh1tty letting them do that

Can't believe some people. You spend your whole life being told or telling yor kids don't accept things from strangers, then for one night you send your kids out to knock on anyones door asking for sweets. Is it just me that thinks thats wrong?

Whilst I totally agree that I wouldn't be impressed with being accosted whilst eating etc - were any of you ever children???
I let my kids go out with their mum in the neighbourhood tonight, knocking on doors that displayed pumpkins etc - thats the whole point of the pumpkin isn't it - to let treaters know which doors/households are participating?
My kids thought it was great, dressing up, making the effort etc - I don't ever give out money, and don't give to kids that are like 15 years old who haven't made an effort and want money for **** etc. We only give sweets
But for my 2 and 3 year old - dressed up as witches with green faces, made their night!

I must admit I never went trick or treating as a kid, but my little girl is 3 now and I am pretty sure next year she will want to go out, but I think I will only take her to people I know.

Good job we only took these little hair 'em scare 'ems to people we knew - I think they were more scared of knocking on doors than the people who opened them
