Even though i've had no work done yet, i wanted to say thanks to the guys at mocom for spending the time with me answering questions and giving ideas on what to do with the car, especially after the goings on that day before i went to see them.

I look forward to getting the car tinkered with up there some time next week.

well for starters its getting a new downpipe with sports cat as i cant be arsed with the de-cat, and after we chatted it was clear that this was the one he recommended... and as this has got the extra bit of pipe for the wastegate, its getting a boost controller (for now only a little one but its going to have the avc-r eventually after other work etc.

usual things like injectors and coil packs, fuel pump etc at some point. I mean its an old car but in good nick with low mileage...

As the TMIC on the version 1 is a bit poop thats going to be changed at some point and then some handling mods. Might leave it for a while then before getting the rest of the exhaust system changed over along with anything wlse that we decide to do..

Basically the cars going to be in the hands of them as i want it for everyday use but also for the occasional track day.
therefore just want to free up some horses and get it handling better.


However driving into work this evening it was whining like an old dog, and from the noise and what it seems to be is the power steering pump + air

so somethings got to be sorted there first, horrid horrid noise....

Sorry for the rambling long post but even though i told the missus it wasnt going to have much done, its now turning into my little project car
