Default Head's up,,,,,Gatso's on the A130....

Between the A127 and Rettendon in both directions 3 per side have sprung up in the last week, very close together.

They're not up and running yet ,but soon will be, and they don't appear on Sat-Nav databases yet so be careful out there peeps.

On a slight comic note,

If you presume these are put in accident blackspots the coned off area to protect the workforce installing these caused a car to hit the central reservation today(dont think anyone was seriously injured). Because the cones started just the other side of a blind crest.

If you speed along the A130 you're asking for trouble if you ask me.... its full of speed traps and marked and unmarked cars all day long.

In the evening echo last night they are saying it's likely to have 50mph speed limits all the way along the A127 probably followed by speed camera's
No good for you lot launching it at the Rayleigh underpass

Don't think they are, I went past them today and they have generators behind them. They tend to do this if the road works are fairly long term, they look permanent but I reckon they will go after the roadworks.

Road Angel warns of these as "Average Speed Cameras", so I've always toned down the speed a bit while going between the two sets just in case... Never seen any signs that they are working, but RA seems to think they might be, so not worth taking the risk...........
