Thumbs down It didn't last long! - broken again -

Less than a week in fact....

Striped second gear on my PPG gearset, whilst driving for Sunday lunch


However API have picked the car up from my home and are fixing it as we speak,


This car really is trying to beat me down It wont win

I think you need to stop spending on the car and spend it on some driving lessons mate.

Andy F runs over 700bhp and nearly 8 sec qtrs on the same gearset????

Id be supprised if its covered TBH. Its a bit like engine parts. If you have used it, chances are they wont be covered.

Some of the gearsets i looked at via lateral for my classic had a lifetime cover up to 450lb...

Like I said, I was driving to a pub for Sunday lunch with my girlfriend in the car, not exactly the most challenging conditions for it

yea, what power, because i have never seen a PPG break, more than once.... because that was just a bum gear...... and once fixed it was strong as hell!

any way they could be fooking you over and maybe they are not really PPG's..... just a thought as i dont know the situation.

Yeah straight cut gears

Power wise, prob just over 400/400 there was still some mapping to do, so not all power squeezed out of the turbo yet.

Will be speaking to API tomorrow, will post an update
