Default R/C Helicopter

Does anyone want to buy a Century Hummingbird V3 helicopter?

It's electric, comes with a spare battery pack, and everything you need to fly.
It's in good condition and is very robust, also comes with the training landing gear.

Steve Webb Models

Offers around £80

getting the hang of it? Trying to fly it is a nightmare, an ant's fart can send it out of control, it's too sensititive for my liking, will have to get a nitro one instead

Do not get a Nitro one mate.. you will be in a whole world of trouble.

If you really want to learn to fly by yourself an electric counter-rotating Twister Bell or a Hi Robo.

These are true entry level heli's and will teach you more than anything else could.

Trouble? I excel in trouble mate!! though you are right, I'll end up doing some serious damage with a nitro helicopter, just look at my truck!!!

Best I just stick with the R/C simulator on my laptop

Plus thats another reason for selling the 'leccy chopper, already broke the main rotor bearing casing, so best sell it before I total it completely.

By the way, I bought a brand new replacement part for it, so it's not broken anymore

Having got my BMFA license for lying helicopters, i wouldn't recommend it to any one. It is extremely difficult (I can't explain how hard). It will take approx 6 to 10 months to get your license... Then it is very simple manouvers... the concentrations is extreme. Every time the blades git the ground, you will have to replace the main shaft, as it will have bent just a little...

Always go fixed wing.... much more relaxed and in the same time you'll be doing loops etc... far more relaxed and thus enjoyable!
