Car for sale.....It's time for it to go
The Pug not the Scoob (perish the thought )
Yep, it's time to wave bye bye to the the little French fella, as I have just picked up my new 2nd car The only reason it's going is because I've got bored with it and fancy a change. It's stood me in fine fettle over the past 2 years.
So, here are the details:
1990 (H) standard Cherry Red 1.6 205 GTi.
121k miles
Eagle F1 tyres with loads of tread
Taxed until the end of the month (but I'm happy to sort out a further 6 or 12 months at cost price)
MOT until 1/8/07 (all previous MOT's proving mileage)
Serviced by the local garage, but comes with STACKS of history
Cam belt changed about 10k ago.
Replacement manifold fitted about 10k ago as the previous one cracked (a regular fault)
Complete new braking system fitted also about 10k ago, this includes vented & cross drilled disks, Ferodo 2500 bads, Goodrich braided pipes, all new lines. This cost approx £800 to be supplied and fitted (more then then Scoob )
I originally bought it to use as a 2nd car and occasional track day (3 in total), but the car has not seen a track since all the above work was done.
Obviously the car is nearly 17 years olds, and is not perfect. However, you will not find a hint of rust anywhere. The drivers seat is shot to peices, but the rest of the interior has stood the test of time.
I'm about 10 minutes from Mocom & the same from Junction 26 on the M25
The car owes me about 2k, but I'm letting it go for £700. For a further £100 you can have a set of 1.9 GTi wheels with Toyo TR1's on. NO OFFERS OR PX's please.
Cheers,
Ed

Phil, if you're seriously interested in the Pug, let me know. I'm sure we can come to some arrangement
