Tyres, Elites or elsewhere
While the wheels are off, might as well get some new tyres, now do we get a discount at Elites?
Or has anyone got any other recommendations. just want to collect the tyres not have them fitted.
Someone mentioned another place a while ago but I cant remember where it was

Mark, we do get a discount at Elite, Barry Eldrige is the man, I am sure Tiny or someone will be along with his number.
Unless you do a quick search of the forums yourself.

You can always try Steve at Leigh Tyres, in my experience, if you get a good price elsewhere, Steve would rather make a loss and sell you tyres, than you going elsewhere
Not sure of their phone number, but I know Andy (Supercue) has it ...... I don't think either of us go anywhere else for our tyres

Ask for Steve ....... If you speak to someone else, you may not get as good a deal ...... And be armed with a low price for your tyres

Steve at Leigh tyres, they may even be cheaper now as he has done a deal with Toyo.
My mates Lotus' rear tyres are £400 each everywhere else. Steve is now doing them for £90, unbelievable.

Toyos are normally around £75-80 a corner fitted to give you some idea.

If you have 17"s and theyre 8" wide you can run 235-45-17.
You'll need wider rims to run wider rubber. Personally if you want a ***** out awesome road tyre id run the Bridgestone RE070.
If you want something a little more forgiving to road conditions then im running Vredestein UltraCs at the moment.
Having previously had Toyo's/Avon ZZ3/GY Eagle F1/Yokos/BF Goodrich Profiler Gs.
The Vredesteins are far and away the best thing ive driven on so far... only the RE070s are better in the dry. I never thought id find a better tyre in the wet than the Eagle F1s as you know theyre fantastic. Then i used teh Ultrac and they blow the F1s away IMO.
Your choice though
