VHS HELP

Default VHS HELP

Well not really,
ive been cleaning out my Garage (well all the box's in my VW BEETLE) AND IVE COME ACROSS a BOX of VHS videos,
now all the films have been taped of the TV,
& i own them now on DVD,
what should i do with the tape?
Can they be recyled?
does any1 want spare tapes to use??

Does any1 use tapes any more?
All info helps.

im sure they could be recycled, tesco in pitsea has a big recycling place that analyses(sp) the rubbish before it accepts it...

Oh I remember VHS...... back in the day!!!!!!

The local video shop used to have two sides, one with VHS and the other with Betamax .......

Man, I'm old......

oh and yes I do also remember Philips Video2000 !!!!

Baz, I was watching "Clutter nutters" the other morning and this exact point came up. Apparently videotapes are very difficult to recycle. Not many places accept them as they are made up of so many different components.

this place will accept them but how you get them there I don't know. Can you smuggle them through the post

Just a kids TABLE & CHAIRS (metal) great for camping, (no room in flat)
some ALBUMS vinal (sp), Singles maybe?

speak of vhs does anyone know how to put a film from vhs to dvd have a vhs i would like on dvd as dont want to buy a vhs for one film

But talking about VHS/Betamax I can better that I have my "LAZERDISC" player in the loft and about 60 or 70 Discs Man I love how that thing whurrs into life and chugs away as it turns the disc over LOL

need MONEY & then i wont have to rent the GARAGE any more saving even more money.

This company got back to me today??
Yes i will have to Post all 20+ tapes or Drive down there £80 of Fuel?
& then pay them £6 for recyling them aswell???

I like to be GREEN aswell you know & recycling is cool,

I wouldn't have thought there would be anything recycleable in a cassette?

maybe the tape inside is toxic.
