Default Saturday is going to be a very sad day for me....

Last Sunday I had a very nice guy view my car.

We've agreed a price that we are both happy with and if all goes to plan he will be collecting it this Saturday

It is now hitting home that I am selling the best car I have ever owned, but at least it is going to go to a good home and only do about 4000miles a year

So it has been confirmed that it is as good as I said it was due to the fact that it has gone to the first person who saw it!!

What have I done?????????????????????????

Hopefully I like the diesel replacement and it isn't to (the hunt is now on)

Look for a nice Golf GT TDI the PD130 or PD150 as these with remaps tend to be pretty handy in terms of motorway grunt and Im currently looking for one too but tricky to find many with under 60k on the clock most have 100k+

May have to look the the Seat aswell as I think they have the same engine etc

If I went for a Seat it would have to be the 150 Cupra but as they are 54 onwards they are out of my price range (I don't want a 130).

So it leaves me with the Golf 150 TDi - I'm looking at 52 to 03 with around 60k or less.

It will be sad to see her go mate but she was a nice one so it was never gonna hang around for long lol

Dont fret about a slow golf tdi mate....

I got a lap of the ring by an ex touring car driver in Novemeber..

4 up in the golf and the 996 porsche still couldnt shake him on anything but a long straight...

needless to say i was humbled

I'd think about the 130 aswell as mapped there isnt much difference between the 2 I heard and 150's seem to be quite abit rarer and overpriced.

Alex,

It's a double edged sword. I'm glad you have been able to sell the car (fingers cross), but sorry to hear the reasons behind it . I'm certain you'll remain on the ESC scene, these days its more about the person than the car you drive.

Hey, look on the bright side, the Metro will be going too!!

Hopefully got a couple I can view this weekend!

You guys make me laugh

It was treated with the utmost respect from the day I bought it to handing over the keys this morning.

I'm happy, he's happy and my backbox is on sale now

I also have a carcover for sale (will fit large spoiler).
