Tint all the way...although think you have to be careful how dark front side windows are tinted as you can get tugged for them being too dark!

I have seen people do that along Southend sea front when the cops drive past!

Also know of a couple of people who have been done for front tints being too dark. I think they got a fine and instructed to remove the tints.

I've known peeps with limo black tints but not been tugged, but it depends if you have anything to hide
Mine, being Jap, only has rear, and side rear windows tinted. Wasnt sure about it TBH, but got use to it quickly plus easier to see out of side window when dark...another consideration when looking at tint darkness!!! Too dark and you might aswell not have a window!!!

OH YES!!! My car before last had smokey grey, all round, and wasn't too bad! But another car I drove had almost limo black and I always had to have window down, epseciall when pulling out of dark road, as couldn't see a thing!
I know you can see on coming headlights, but no chance seeing perdistrians (sp)!!!
If your happy to go Limo black on rear and side rear only, then go for it, other than that, I'd go smokey grey. A good reputable supplier should be able to tell you what legal and whats not...mine did when I had it put on my old car.

You could go limo black on rear and smokey grey on front...but might look odd??

Could effect your insurance too if you had an accident at night and they relate it to poor visibility due to front windows being tinted.

Surely if you declare it you'd be ok...may pay more though? You could say that for all mods that are "declared" couldn't you!?

But aren't front tints over a certain % of tint illegal? If they are then you can't really declare it I guess.

My mate got a fine (can't remember how much ) and had to remove the tints, then report to some sort of MOT place to have them checked.
