Can someone kindly advise what's the best clutch to go for, for my 95 classic wrx.

The clutch is slipping like mad, I've noticed there's currently a group buy going on, but they're offering the fitting in coventry, which is bit of a trek on a screwed clutch, is there anyone in the relm's of the ESC that can fit them and what should i expect to pay for fitting

Thanks
Ben

i think fish paid about £150 - £175 for fitting. not sure where he got this done though. Or know of a good garage in South Woodham that's not too expensive. As for which is best, i'm afraid i can't help there.

Depends on what mods youre planning on doing to the car?

Id get an uprated item like an Exedy, AP, OS Giken or Quartermaster.

That way you know it will cope with whatever youre likely to throw at it

I have an Exedy (fitted at API) but im sure there are more local companies to deal with if you done fancy the drive.

That clutch survives me which is saying something, as I chewed through a brand new Subaru item (fitted at Xtremes) in two months or so.

This is my second exedy, the first one lasted best part of a year with Santa Pod launches and a trip to the Ring, it started slipping and was changed under warrenty by API, no questions asked

From memory it cost around £700 all in, worth every penny (twice)

Cheers guy's I think i'll go for the gb one from API, as that's an organic exedy one plus a lightened flywheel.

Just need to get it fitted in time for the tunnel run

I also had the lightened flywheel fitted there at the same time, one of my fav mods, engine seemed a lot free-er revving after that.
