Sell it, get a freelander for a while, save a few quid.
Then get a newer Spec C or something with a litchfield warrenty, more reliable etc.
Just got you dont have a scoob you can still come to all the meets, unless you get a BMW in which case you will be stoned!

You've got to do what's best for you my friend. I hope you won't sell up but if another project takes precedence, so be it.
Good luck m8, scooby or not, i'm sure you've met peeps through the club that'll always be friends irrespective of what you drive.

Just buy another little black dress.
And you won't care what car you have.
Whatever path you take you will always be a part of the ESC family.

You have done so much work, it would be a shame to sell her now..... Enjoy her for a while and if you still feel the same after a couple of months then sell her

sell every thing else in your GARAGE
As im seriously thinking about sell my VW BEETLE just to pay a few things off, & as i wont need to rent a garage afterwards i will also be saving me another £20 a month,
But i cant get around to sell it

By the title of the thread I thought you was going to ask if you should have the full 'op' or not!!
Mate, whether you keep the car or not, you know you'll always be welcome at an ESC meet.
Just look at that wannabee who's recently turned up in two Porkers and a Beemer . I also turned up at the Posers in the Capri, which caused a few raised eyebrows as well as some laughs!
IMHO, it it's hitting you too hard financially, kick it into touch. At the end of the day, it's only a car which can be replaced by something bigger and better in good time. No point skinting yourself.

You know my views

P.S. can you sell something that you have promised to someone if anything ever happens to you? Tee Hee

Thanks people, includeing the person who thinks I'm a plank
Have now made a decision,
1. keep the roadster - want to finish it and enjoy some open top motoring and sidways fun.
2. Keep the Scoob, too much blod sweat and tears have been spilt, plus I'll never get the money back I've spent on it.
3. And I'm going to buy another car as a run around, preferabl want a diesel 4x4.
Just got to find somewhere safe to keep the scoob now.
Looks like you lot are stuck with me for a while longer

It would be a shame to sell the car But at the end of the day its your decision and if its gotta go its gotta go. You can keep coming to the meets of cause and you can always get another one in the future when your circumstances allow you to.

wasn't selling it for financial reasons, just having a crappy time recently and thought a change might be better but I've been back in my place, got a few ear'ole bashings and started to sort myself out
Plus it seems a lot of you want to see the car finished, ie remapped so can't let you lot down now
