What a day I've had
Found out at middday, the department I work in will be shutting, thus making me redundant the middle of October (unless I can find something else within the company).
After work popped over to Bluewater.
On the way back I got to the beginning of the toll queue at the Dartford Crossing, paid my pound but the toll booth operator wouldn't open the barrier. She said there had been a breakdown in the tunnel and all of the traffic had to wait until it was recovered.
After about 10 minutes she gave the all clear and raised the barrier.
I was first away and got into the tunnel before anybody else.
I actually went through the tunnel with my windows down, listening to my exhaust, with a TOTALLY empty road ahead.
It was fantastic, being able to drop a cog and roar off, only to slow down and do it again.
That made me smile and forget about my redundancy.

Definately not....I`ll be making sure of that.
It has always been his dream to own one and I will make sure he will still be able to keep it....even if it means I`ll have to do overtime!!!!!!!!!

perhaps I`ll have a word with the toll booth lady to see if she can stop the traffic again
the car sounded fantastically LOUD (especially as we were the only car in there at the time) and certainly put a smile back on your face
