Default New Toy, curtesy of ABW

I bought this before I went to Germany, but only just got round to fitting the damn thing.

Naked car pic:

Car back in one piece:

What a nightmare to fit, as it's for a facelift, so didn't quite fit.
Out came the angle grinder, had to cut off some brackets, grind down the foglight brackets so I could refit the fog lights, fabricate induction kit ducting, get a new cone air filter, and cut the I/C pipe work and reroute the pipe work around the oil filler cap. also I had to remove the Scoop ducting as it fouled the pipe work.

As the car hasn't been mapped yet, it's quite laggy at the moment, but the dumpvalve now chatters like a good'un

Got to get a few more things done then it's going to Ives for the remap:

Can't wait

Did you get a look inside it mate, im assuming its a bar and plate cooler, so does it have internal fins to straighten the air and increase the surface area or are the tubes just hollow?

What sort of cash is this kit as you mention its for a newage, im currently looking for a decent cooler and cant find anything im particularly happy with.

Got a new bumper on the way though

To be honest mate, I didn't look inside, so not sure! but it is a bar and plate

I meant it's for a facelift classic, you wouldn't beleive the difference between the 2.

I've looked on the 'net about the cooler, it's made by Autobahn88 and apparently it's comparable with the Hybrid FMIC, just different pipe work.

I got i for £325.

I know Dal got 2, one for me, and one for the newage which he put on the blue/green beastie, well just the I/C - it's not plumbed in!!

Cheers mate i would be interested, i assume it will be hollow, AFAIK these coolers are running industrail spec A/C cores with no internal fins.

Cornelius - Saw you rumbling through Corringham Town Centre yesterday, car looks so much more aggressive with the front mount!
